Welcome to SOULTREK. The year is 2386.
Nine years ago the greatest
intergalactic war ended and rebuilding began in an
effort to bring the Federation, it’s allies and it’s
opponents out of the devastation that remained.
Despite economic stagnation throughout the region and
touch and go politics, Starfleet has taken a stance on
ship production that leans more towards Exploration
and Science then Combat and Defense. The newly
commissioned
USS EXPLORER is an
example of this.
The
people of the Federation have started to feel the
freedoms of peace once again with trade treaties back in
place and former adversaries now on friendly and trading
terms.
Thanks
to the efforts of
STARBASE ARCADIA and
other Federation diplomatic ventures, the allure of a
cold war that some feared has been warded off and
cooperation has started to prove fruitful.
Alliances during the war saw unprecedented community
between the Federation, Klingons and Romulans but have
started to decay. As predicted, the Romulan Empire has
once again opted for a more self-sufficient and detached
stance but ties still remain between former
comrades-in-arms.
Goals
set for the future include Exploration into the Delta
Quadrant by a newly designed Federation vessel and a
shoring up of the Federation’s borders with help from
vessels like the
USS INDEPENDENCE,
USS CHALLENGER and the
USS ENTROPY.
We
cannot know what is in store for us in the future but we
can strive to make it the best one possible. JOIN US and
help make a prosperous future a reality.
The Federation continues its quest for knowledge and
understanding. Starfleet is the vessel of which makes
this quest a reality. For our greatest enemy is....
